A used car is a high-value, trust-dependent purchase. When both sides are anonymous, every deal slows down: more calls, more doubt, more drop-offs. CarsBook addresses this at the root - the marketplace is closed, and only reviewed dealer businesses can see it.
The verification flow
Every dealership moves through Pending -> Under review -> Approved (or rejected, suspended or blocked). Only approved accounts can open the marketplace. That single gate removes the biggest friction in used-car trading: not knowing who you are dealing with. Registration typically takes 24 - 48 hours to review.
How verification works in practice ->
Trust changes what gets discussed
When both sides are known businesses, the conversation is about the car rather than about whether the car exists. That means fewer wasted calls, less haggling over fundamentals, and a negotiation that can start where it should - at the price.
Private documents do a lot of the work
An RC, insurance or PUC document is what turns a claim into evidence. On CarsBook those documents are never public: a listing is visible to the network while its paperwork stays private until the selling dealer shares it. So you can publish confidently without exposing your own documents to every dealer on the platform.
How document privacy is handled ->
Known city, known state
With a reviewed dealer network you know who is on the other end and where they are. That matters practically: inspection and RC transfer need a real counterparty in a real city, and a listing that says "Delhi dealer, approved" is a completely different proposition from a number in a chat group.
No retail noise
Because only dealers are admitted, there are no end-customer tyre-kickers and no brokers asking whether a car is still available. Just dealers who need inventory and dealers who have it.
Trust compounds
As the network grows, discovery gets faster and deals get cleaner, because every new member arrives already reviewed. The value of a listing is not that thousands of people saw it - it is that the right dealer saw it and knew exactly who they were dealing with.
That is the whole point of CarsBook: market to dealers, your real customers, with the trust that closes deals.
